As a value to my clients and potential customers, I include some of the legal services I am able to provide for some standard services and the appropriate fee for each service.  I also include my standard fee agreement with the minimum hourly rate of $150.00.  My fees may be more depending on the complexity of the legal issues and procedures of your case.  I always require a retainer, which is not refundable, before I begin work on a case.  I am also willing to make arrangements for payments of my fees and expenses with clients depending on the case and client.

Here are my minimum fees for some of my standard services, which does not include court costs or legal expenses, if any.  I may charge more if your case is complex and not standard.  I do not charge a fee to determine if you need my services, but I will charge a fee and retainer to represent you. If you wish to just discuss a legal matter or issue for your information without retaining me for the future, I charge a fee by the hour.

  • No Fault Divorce without Children: $600.00
  • No Fault Divorce with Children: $800.00
  • Fault Divorce, Uncontested: $1,000.00
  • Fault Divorce, Contested: $1,500.00
  • Chapter 7 Bankruptcy - Simple, No Business:  $1,200.00
  • Chapter 13 Bankruptcy - Simple, No Business: $1,200.00 RETAINER (ADDITIONAL FEE TO BE PAID THROUGH PLAN)
  • Basic Will: $150.00
  • Living Will/Advanced Healthcare Directive: $50.00
  • Power of Attorney, Simple: $50.00
  • Residential Lease: $150.00
  • Bill of Sale: $25.00
  • Deed: $150.00
  • Appearance in Justice or Municipal Court: $500.00
  • Criminal Felony Case in Miss. State Court: $2,500.00
  • Probate Decedent Estates: $1,500.00
  • Guardianships & Conservatorships (Establish): $1,000.00
  • Personal Consultations for up to a Half Hour: $50.00

My standard fee arrangement for legal services is as follows:

For services rendered and to be rendered, I (we) agree to pay, set over and/or assign to my (our) attorney the fees designated on this document. I (We) agree that costs of court, investigation, and any "out-of-pocket" expenses incurred by my (our) attorney will be repaid by me (us). Legal services rendered on an hourly basis, unless stated differently hereafter, shall be charged at the rate of $150.00 per hour; but the hourly rate for all appearances in court, at a hearing, or in offices of an administrative or judicial officer shall be $200.00 per hour. All fees designated as a “retainer” are not refundable. All bills will be due and payable within thirty (30) days after the date of postmark. All costs of collection, including a reasonable attorney fee and all court costs, shall be paid by client(s) if any bills are not timely paid in full by client(s). All hourly rates are only valid for a period of one year from the date of this document. Any increases in the hourly rate, after the passing of one year, shall be made known to client(s) in writing.
